Welcome to our team!  Here's what were all about...

We are now recruiting for a team of students to enter in fundamental competitions and parades annually and seasonally.  Though Remote Dance does not promote competition we do promote and teach performance values in all of our classes.  Performance skills are relative to our daily lives as people where we need confidence.  This troop will meet 2 times per week regularly at "My Dance Place" home office studio for rehearsals.  Rehearsals consist of building friendships as a team, mastering performance skills and learning intermediate to advanced dance routines.  The team is mentored by Artistic Director, Marissa Goad, and coached by Troop Director & Choreographer, Jay J Graham and co-coached by Missy D Fuller.

Dance Troop will enter in fundamental competitions at a beginner to advanced level in the Spring and Summer of 2012.  Also, Dance Troop will participate in seasonal parades as performers verses walkers.  Such competitions Remote Dance "Dance Troop" will participate in annually will be at the descretion of the Artistic Director. * Each enrolled Dance Troop participant will be required to also enroll in in classes offered weekly at "My Dance Place" and or one of our seasonal "remote" locations.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?  ALL APPEARANCES / COMPETITIONS WE ENROLL IN ALL STUDENTS ARE AWARD WINNERS!! We will not put our students in a competition that makes them feel uncomfortable.  We believe we are all dancin' stars and we want our dance troop to feel proud of their hard work and achievements! The competitions and parades we have selected award every student participant and company enrolled so everyone is a winner!

All travel expenses and uniform costs will be required with additional costs.  Appearances will be mandatory by all participants of "Dance Troop" except for those listed as optional.
